I was born and raised in South Charleston, WV. Attended the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, earning a BS in Economics. Afterward, I went straight to pilot training and on to a career in the Air Force. I’ve been a military pilot my entire adult life, 12.5 years active duty Air Force and the last 19 in the Air Force Reserve. I fly the KC-135 Stratotanker, an air refueler. I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world, but there are still a lot of places I’d like to visit. I’ve been married to my best friend for more than 25 years, have 4 talented children, and we’ve been living in Indiana since 1999.
I have a Masters from Seton Hill in Writing Popular Fiction. I’ve been writing in earnest for about 10 years, but haven’t published anything yet, although I’ve finished two novels and working on several others. I’ve been chronicling that effort here on and off. When I’m not writing, I am probably checking my Twitter feed or Facebook, reading, or listening to music. I’ve been drawing in pastel chalk and pencil and hope to do a lot more. I love to read SF, Mystery, or Urban Fantasy. Still trying to do it the old-fashioned way, with traditional publishing.
